About Us

At The Music Box in Zurich, Ontario we blend the fun of play with learning while offering quality music instruction for kids of all ages and abilities from beginner to advanced! Piano lessons have never been so FUN! Teacher Aimee Rau has over 21 years of music teaching experience, 12 of those years with Music For Young Children. 

Music Pups® classes for babies and toddlers introduce children to a variety of music genres, help them develop basic music competence and set them up for music learning success! Most importantly it is a special bonding time for you and your baby where you learn ways to add meaningful music experiences into your child's everyday routine. Music Pups classes run in 10 week blocks with new sessions beginning in September, January, April and a 6 week session in July.

Music For Young Children Classes are designed for children ages 2 1/2yrs through adulthood! The following levels are available and run from September through May:

Sunrise - pre-keyboard program for ages 2 1/2 - 3 1/2yrs. 

Sunshine I - beginner keyboard program for ages 3 & 4 yrs

Sunbeam I - beginner keyboard program for ages 5 & 6yrs

Moonbeam I - beginner keyboard program for ages 7 - 10 yrs

My Choice - beginner keyboard program for ages 11 - 14 yrs

Music Your Best Choice - beginner keyboard program for 14 yr- adult 

At The Music Box we also offer private piano and theory lessons for students who have already achieved a grade 1 conservatory level.
